Enough gnocchi for 4 people (or pasta instead)
1 jar wild garlic pesto
Cherry tomatoes (1 double handful)
1 pack Parma ham, prosciutto or similar (optional)
Generous bowl of grated Parmesan or cheddar cheese
Heat a little oil in a frying pan. Shred the ham and add it to the pan to crisp. Cook and drain the gnocchi, or pasta if using.
When the ham is crispy, add the tomatoes and fry until they are sizzling and the juice is coming out.
Add the cooked gnocchi to the pan with the ham and tomatoes and stir.
Add the pesto and stir until properly mixed through. Heat on a medium heat for 1-2 minutes, until heated through. Do not overcook.
Serve with generous amounts of grated Parmesan or cheddar mixed through, and black pepper.
