Autumn Punch

Ingredients
1 litre apple juice
1 thumb-sized ginger piece, sliced
1 ripe or tinned pear, sliced
4 cinnamon sticks
1 tsp light brown sugar
Juice of 1 lime

Method
Put all ingredients in pan and bring mixture to boil.

Simmer for 10 minutes until the sugar is dissolved.

Skim off any scum then pour into a punch bowl.

Add golden rum to make this extra tasty!
